SSC CGL

The candidates should note that CGL is the short name for the Combined Graduate Level(CGL) exam. The
Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam is the premier exam of the Staff Selection Commission and it is
conducted annually to recruit Group B (Gazetted and Non-Gazetted) officers and Group C staff in the
Central Ministries. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL 2024 exam notification online on
June 11, 2024. The Commission will also activate the SSC CGL 2024 online application link with the release
of the official notification. The last date for the SSC CGL 2024 applications will be July 10, 2024. The
Commission mentioned in its official exam calendar that the SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 exam will be conducted in
August/September 2024. The regional websites of the SSC will release the SSC CGL 2024 application status
around a month before the exam commencement. After the exam, the Commission will release the SSC CGL
2024 answer key (tentative) on its official website. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL
2024 notification on its official website – ssc.nic.in. It will conduct the SSC CGL 2024 in
August/September 2024. The Commission notified the SSC CGL 2024 application and exam dates in the
official exam calendar. The Commission can release the exam dates separately if these dates will not be

SSC CGL 2024 Posts
The Staff Selection Commission will release the name of the SSC CGL Posts, vacancies, salary and the
corresponding age limit in the official SSC CGL 2024 notification. The Commission released the following SSC
CGL posts in the official notification:
SSC CGL posts are classified into the following three categories:

• Group ‘B’ Gazetted
• Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted
• Group ‘C’
