NIMCET
NIMCET – National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are Institutions of National Importance Under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission in to their MCA programme. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. The admission into the MCA programme for the year 2023-24 in above 09 NITs is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2023 only. National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the NITs. This entrance exam is conducted every year for the interested graduates to be offered admission into Masters in Computer Application (MCA)Programme in the participating NITs.
NIMCET 2023 Exam Overview
NIMCET 2023 exam is going to be conducted online. As per the data received, all the 11 NITs along with 18 other renowned government funded institutes would be participating in the entrance test. All the important highlights of NIMCET 2023 have been summarised in the table below.

NIMCET 2023 Important Dates
NIT Jamshedpur has released the NIMCET 2023 exam date which is going to be conducted from 1st June to 6th June 2023. The dates would be announced once the notification has been released. All the JEECUP 2023 important dates would be updated in the table below for the convenience of the candidates.

NIMCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The NIMCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria is prescribed by NITs responsible for conducting the exam. The candidate must satisfy the eligibility requirement prescribed by the official authorities to appear in the exam. The detailed information about NIMCET 2023 eligibility has been given below-Â

| Educational Qualifications | 1. Those candidates must have any degree with mathematics/ statistics for a minimum of 3 years full time or B.E / B.Tech or some equivalent exam from a recognized University will be able to apply for the NIMCET 2023 examination. 2. Candidates who have completed their B.Sc / B.Sc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT for 3 years from Open Universities will also be able to apply for the examination. |

NIMCET 2023 Exam Pattern
The NIMCET 2023 exam pattern describes the type and pattern of questions to be asked in the upcoming entrance exam. NIMCET 2023 exam will be conducted online (CBT) mode. The question paper will be in English language only and will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The question paper will contain 120 questions in the examination.
1. Â 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
2. -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
3. Â The question paper will be divided in 4 sections. Each section contain different marks sections.

NIMCET 2023 Result
The NIMCET 2023 Result has been scheduled to be released on 26th June 2023 online. The authorities will also publish a rank list prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test. Candidates will be required to use their login credentials to obtain their results and candidates must take the printout of the NIMCET 2023 result for future reference.
NIMCET 2023 Counselling
Candidates willing to participate in the NIMCET 2023 Counselling process will have to apply through online mode. The NIMCET 2023 Counselling is expected to be held on 29th June 2023. Seats will be allotted on the basis of the rank scored by the candidates, preferred choices filled by the candidates and availability of seats. Only those candidates who are successful in qualifying for the entrance exam will be permitted to fill the choices of the institution where they are seeking admission. Candidates need to carry the below listed documents with them for the counselling process.
