IIFT

IIFT The IIFT exam is a common aptitude test conducted for admission to MBA International Business course offered by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada. This year, MBA in Business Analytics programme has been launched admission to which will also be based on the IIFT entrance exam score. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts IIFT exam on behalf of the institute. The IIFT question paper consists of questions from Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning and General Awareness.

IIFT Eligibility Criteria 2023

• Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Candidates belonging to General category must have scored minimum 50 per cent aggregate in graduation and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category must have score 45 per cent aggregate.
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the final year degree by October 7, 2023.

IIFT Admission Process 2023

IIFT Exam – Eassy Writing GDPI – Final Section

• Candidates who clear the IIFT cut offs are called for Essay Writing, GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) round.
• For Essay Writing, candidates are provided a topic related to general or business affairs. The average time allotted to draft an essay of around 300 words is 20 minutes.
• In GD round, candidates are divided into groups of 10-12 and given a topic. Candidates are then expected to take initiative, communicate efficiently and present their ideas effectively.
• Last round is the PI round where the panelists interview the candidates. The final result about selection for admission is communicated to the candidates through email.
• For the past two years, the institute has been conducted online PI and extempore instead of GD and WAT due to COVID-19 restrictions.
